ABOUT IACT

The Indian American Coalition of Texas (IACT) was founded in 2004 to facilitate greater political participation and awareness among Indian Americans in Central Texas.

OUR MISSION

• Organize a coalition of Indian Americans committed to the rights and needs of the Indian American community.
• Register voters and encourage participation in the local, state, and federal political processes.
• Define issues of concern and interest to the Indian American community, and educate and influence policymakers and the general public.
• Promote and encourage the appointment of Indian Americans to positions of public leadership.
• Facilitate mentoring of Indian Americans for elected and appointed positions and participate in the grassroots political process.
